Meal Topper

My dog loves this stuff! He used to leave half his food, but now he cleans the bowl every time. The beef liver topper smells fresh and natural, not fake or chemical. It’s easy to sprinkle on, and a little goes a long way. I like that it’s pure protein and healthy, no fillers or junk. Have had no digestive issues. Great product for picky eaters — I’ll keep buying it.

My little dogs really love the taste of this. They have liver in their diets normally, but it's chicken liver. The beef liver really gets them interested in their food though. It has a scoop included so it's really easy to measure out how much you want to use. This definitely gives my dogs an appetite and helps them get excited about finishing their meals. It has a strong scent and seems like a high quality food topper. For my two small dogs this amount will last a while, so it's a good value for me.

Our dog isn’t a picky eater in general, but being raw fed, getting a good amount of organ meat in him can be difficult at times. Liver is so important in a dog’s diet. It’s like a multivitamin! Having this freeze-dried beef liver/lung meal topper on hand is a great way to get more in him, especially when I’m out of raw. He loves the taste and goes crazy when I even open the jar. I don’t smell anything unless I stick my nose right over the open jar, and then it’s only a mild beefy kind of smell, but he sure picks up the scent quickly from across the room and goes nuts. When a dog is first given organ meat it can cause diarrhea, so start out slow. I love that it’s made from grass fed beef. This gives it a much better nutrient profile. It would be a little pricey to feed this all the time for the organ portion of his diet, although grass fed liver isn’t cheap to buy raw either, but this is a great item to have on hand when you are out of raw.

This liver topper is great option for lightening up the pets meals. I have two kittens and use this as toppers between the meals on their wet food. The cats like it and it helps alternating taste for the cats. It seems like it tasted good as the cats like it. Given it made from beef liver which is essential for cats, I would recommend this product.

Well, my dog (literally) sneezed at it, but my cat was all over it. My dog though, is beyond picky. And while my cat greatly approves of the taste, I approve because of all the healthy ingredients. My cat and I could not be more satisfied with this order. It’s met with approval by one one fur baby, and one pet parent!

Wow, my dogs just love this stuff! I have two small dogs and while one is greedy, overweight and eats all his food immediately, the other is picky and will let his food sit. This is a problem because the greedy dog ends up eating both bowls of food when we are trying to get him to lose weight, or if I pick the bowl up and try to get the other dog to eat it later, the food gets stale and then he won eat it and I end up throwing it away, which is money down the drain. This dog food topper made of freeze-dried beef liver and beef lung solves the problem, because once I sprinkle a little bit of it on their kibble, both dogs gobble up their food up immediately.My dogs go crazy for this stuff. I'll admit dried beef lung and liver sounded kind of gross to me, but now that I've been using this I can say it is a very clean, dry powder and it is not yucky or smelly, though it does have a beefy odor that is neither strong nor offensive. It comes in a neat and tidy little plastic jar with a screw-on lid, and a little scoop is even included. It is so easy to sprinkle it on; I don't even have to crumble it like some other freeze-dried toppers I've tried. I only need to sprinkle on a little to motivate my dogs to eat their kibble, so this jar will last a long time. The label has guidance on the amount to give dogs based on their weight, but of course you can use your own discretion and possibly use less to make it last longer.Overall, I really like giving this healthy treat to my dogs because it is made of only beef liver and beef lung; there are no fillers or chemicals. My dogs love this stuff and it solves our feeding schedule problems, and at the same time makes our dogs so happy and gives them what they think is a treat, but is also a dose of healthy vitamins and minerals from the beef lung and liver.

The texture of this topper is slightly grainy and powdery, with a rich meaty aroma. My dog has always been picky with kibble, I usually have to add chicken or beef just to get him to eat. But as soon as I sprinkled this on top, he finished his whole bowl! It’s convenient, easy to use, and I love knowing I’m adding something high in protein, made with quality ingredients, and free of fillers. Definately worth the price!

My dog loves beef liver and lung treats, so this topper is naturally a great fit for her. Indeed a sprinkle of it mixed into her kibble gets her to eat it right away. She loves the taste and will perk up when I open the jar. I wouldn’t necessarily say she is a picky eater, but she will leave her food unattended until she is hungry, so it’s nice to have something to motivate her if we need to be elsewhere for a while. I love the simple ingredients, sourced at home in the USA. The large volume is going to last us a very long time.

I like this topper to add variety to my cat's food and there's a lot of it in the tub. Honestly my cats are pretty picky so they didn't hate it or love it. They ate it like regular. I just like having extra nutrients if available so the lung and heart powder gives me somewhat piece of mind. I think it's pretty good if your cat likes beef

My dog gets so excited when I sprinkle the Beef Liver Food Toppers for Dogs & Cats over his food. It is the perfect little extra treat to spoil him even more than he already is. He is a good eater, but it is ideal for when I need him to eat quickly so I can get out of the house. I love the fact that it has only 2 ingredients - beef liver and beef lung. Overall, it’s a great product for a great value. I will order again.

My little dog had some meal topper with her breakfast and dinner and scarfed it right down.So I guess it passes the dog test! She is a picky little eater--she won't really take treats from people.This dog food meal-sprinkle has very simple ingredients: BEEF LIVER and LUNGS.That's it!Made in the USA, there's a breakdown of carbohydrates, fiber, fat, protein, moisture and calories.I just sprinkle one little scoop on top of her kibble and she loves it.I love how simple the ingredients are and how much she loves the flavor.

My fur babies love this topper! It is 100% beef liver and lung, no fillers! Many other brands with include natural flavoring and silica, which is horrendous and is not needed! This topper is 100% meat and superb in quality! They are doing it the right way! My babies go bonkers for this topper. I mix it with their food, as I feed them raw, with occasional wet and freeze dried as snacks. They gobble it right up and ask for more every time! Must be super tasty! It does smell great, you can tell its high quality meat.Overall, we are quite happy with this topper and highly recommend it to others. Great price, too!

I like to try different toppers and treats for my 2 dogs. One will eat anything and the other is much more choosy. They both tend to like beef and beef liver.This comes in a jar with a little scoop It is a little different than some toppers we have tried. It is ground up and looks like ground coffee more than little pieces of food. I like this because I can sprinkle it all over the food and it lasts longer. It also entices them to eat the food but doesn’t add a lot of extra calories and things that aren’t good for my dogs. I wasn’t sure how the dogs would respond, but they love it. The older dog eats anything - so I wasn’t surprised he ate it. But our picky eater loves it too. I just sprinkle it on his dry food and he eats.It is a good value too. A lot of toppers are really expensive. This is cheaper than those and lasts longer.

I sprinkled a little of this on my Doxie’s food and included a pic of her literally licking the bowl. I like the idea that there are limited ingredients and that it is a protein addition. Half the battle is getting your pet to eat the stuff and my Doxie gobbled it down and licked the outside of the bowl. The product is a fine grain making it easy to dole out portions, and does not have an unpleasant smell so that is a plus for me. I am pleased!!
